Description Job Description:As a Data Scientist, you'll interpret large, complex data sets, create predictive machine learning models and NLP techniques, and share findings with stakeholders.Responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining machine learning models for business objectives
Investigating data issues and monitoring model performance
Developing data analytics frameworks and methodologies
Collaborating with teams to create and carry out experiments and analyses
Conducting detailed data analysis to extract actionable insights
Simplifying insights into practical business recommendations and data products
Utilizing NLP techniques to extract valuable information from unstructured data
Keeping up-to-date with advancements in machine learning and NLP
Developing NLP models to analyze and validate textual data
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
5+ years' experience as a Data Scientist or with data or predictive models
Proven experience deploying machine learning models
Proficiency in Python, R, or another statistical programming language
Experience with NLP feature engineering and modeling
Proficiency in SQL or Snowflake
Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex findings to all stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
Preferred Skills:
Master’s Degree in related field
Experience with SAS (or similar) for conducting analyses and creating predictive models
Experience with data visualization tools like Domo or Tableau
