Job Description

The Manager, Digital Content – eCommerce and Marketing within the Digital & eCommerce COE will manage the planning and production of digital content across all regions. They will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing and work with all regions to create, share and validate digital content across BIC.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation of digital content across all regions in partnership with GI&I, eComm and local marketing teams, as needed
  • Maintain a global content calendar which captures all content needs by region- identifying opportunities for integration and efficiency to reduce duplication of effort
  • Lead quarterly Content Planning work sessions with cross-functional partners (internal/external) to keep calendar, and activity, up-to-date and integrated
  • Help improve the quality of our digital content by creating / maintaining benchmarks, specifications guide and/or best practices
  • Ensure assets are developed for global and local usage and translated appropriately
  • Track content development budgets/ agencies within broader COE budget
  • Continue to optimize our Digital Shelf to improve consumer experiences / conversion of our products online, serving as key partner to eComm team in support their needs/requests
  • Evaluate global campaign creative and lead adaptations, as needed
  • Help drive curiosity and add to culture of collaboration as we move toward digital transformation
  • Serve as point of contact / lead coordinator of content agencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Preference for Business, Communications, but will consider Liberal Arts backgrounds pending relevant work experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in agency, Marketing or digital marketing role; CPG experience preferred
  • Awareness and baseline understanding of Amazon ecosystem and key digital marketing platforms (i.e. social media)
  • Experience in leading or participating in digital creative development
  • Solid MS Office skills – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Expert project and product management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Independent and can operate with minimum supervision
  • Track-record of success or illustrations of contributions made in areas of digital growth/transformation or change management, training and business-related performance
  • “Curious Collaborator” who can flex leadership style to build relationships
  • Desire to lead and shape vision at time of corporate transformation and help shape a refreshed culture
  • Previous/Professional Experience/Technical Skills
  • Strong writing skills needed
  • Has effectively driven influence among peers and those at higher levels
