What you’ll be doing The Project Implementation Engineer will report to the Sr. Manager-Project Implementation and work with all Northeast field engineering managers/directors. You will be focused on providing standardized program reporting and process optimization for all select field engineering programs; and standards compliance for the major Territory support tools. The role is to drive standardization, automation, and effective reporting across the Market teams which will allow us to more effectively drive program progress and bridge any gaps.
Provide Sub-market and Market level support on all FUZE module implementations; work with Territory and NS to ensure Market requirements are included within FUZE development processes.
Provide Market level support, drive process improvements and data integrity validations to ensure compliance with Territory/HQ standards established with FUZE modules and related tools.
Provide/ensure accurate and detailed program reporting for all major network programs (New Build, Carrier Add, small cells, 5G, Interconnect etc)
Develop project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestones completions, project issues, project jeopardies, and overall project completion across the key disciplines.
Drive process standardization across Northeast engineering via Process mapping, standard reporting, and process optimization via effective data analytics and automation.
Lead tool development to support data integrity and automation for reporting and other high-level network initiatives.
Partner with Territory and NS for FUZE SPM development and site tracker to FUZE SPM migration.
Provide project management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process-focused objectives.
Maintain excellent communication with Functional managers and Directors to ensure early identification of issues a timely reporting of status.
What we’re looking for You'll need to have:
Associate's degree or twoor more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience in the Telecommunications and Wireless industry.
Advanced skills -MS Excel and data analytics tools.
Experience with database management and experience with report design and development.
Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau.
Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking concepts, practices and tools.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent presentation skills with strong communication capabilities, both oral and written.
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in business conditions.
Results oriented, a strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
Experience building relationships and fosters teamwork.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business conditions.
Strong verbal & written communication skills to interact with other departments and teams to achieve objectives and improve processes.
