The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging and effective training to direct care staff who provide exceptional care to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role supports employee development through new hire orientation, in-service training, and virtual learning across multiple states.The ideal candidate is an energetic and engaging trainer with strong public speaking skills and a passion for helping others learn and grow. This role uses a variety of tools and resources to enhance employee training, performance, and engagement while contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.WHAT YOU WILL DO:New Employee Orientation: Lead engaging sessions to welcome and prepare new hires.Training & Software: Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook to support training and create materials.Communication & Collaboration: Communicate training needs and collaborate with trainers on organizational and in-service training.Learning Management System: Track training completions, classes, and required data to support compliance.Virtual Training: Deliver training through Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Teams, including technical support as needed.Resource Coordination: Partner with staff to maximize training effectiveness and program outcomes.Role Structure: 50% administrative and 50% facilitation, with 75% of facilitation in person and 25% virtual across multiple states; average class size of 10.
