Description We are offering an opportunity for an Office Assistant to join our team located in NAUGATUCK, Connecticut. This role involves various administrative tasks, including data entry, document scanning, and processing purchase orders. You will be an integral part of our team, maintaining office efficiency by carrying out various tasks within the ERP system and providing internal correspondence support.Responsibilities: Conduct data entry tasks into the ERP system with accuracy and efficiency Handle the scanning and relabeling of files to ensure organized record-keeping Respond to and direct phone calls, ensuring efficient communication within the office Generate purchase orders as part of the purchasing process Utilize basic office equipment and skills to carry out daily administrative tasks Input data relevant to purchasing activities and order entry Operate switchboards for 1-10 lines, directing calls as necessary Assist in the maintenance of customer records and take appropriate action when necessary Utilize Epicor and Epicor Erp systems to effectively carry out tasks Engage in purchasing activities as part of the overall administrative role. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting Proficiency in the use of Epicor and Epicor ERP software Demonstrated ability to operate basic office equipment Strong basic office skills including organization and time management Experience with data input and data entry tasks Familiarity with processing purchase orders Ability to handle switchboard phones with 1-10 lines Experience with purchasing activities and order entry Proficiency in document scanning Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic Good computer skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
