Support Project Manager/Lead

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Support Project Manager/Lead in Waterbury, Connecticut. The role will focus on supporting and leading various IT projects within the organization. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment and will be expected to handle tasks such as troubleshooting hardware, providing end-user support, and keeping up with the latest technology advancements.Responsibilities: Install, configure, and resolve issues with PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and other applicable hardware. Perform basic network administration tasks, ensuring system efficiency. Provide both onsite and remote support and training for end users. Implement effective strategies for virus and malware removal. Troubleshoot issues with email using the Outlook platform. Ensure all systems are regularly updated with the latest patches, security updates, and firmware. Document IT processes and configurations for future reference. Stay updated with the latest technology advancements to provide the best support and solutions. Offer technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Train new users, ensuring they are comfortable with the systems. Handle Windows migration tasks effectively. Utilize skills in Cloud Technologies, Content Management System (CMS), Contract Management, Microsoft, Microsoft Azure, Agile Scrum, Auditing, Best Practices, and Change Management. Requirements Possess proficiency in Cloud Technologies Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) Experience in Contract Management is a necessity Expertise in Microsoft applications and Microsoft Azure is required Agile Scrum methodology knowledge is essential Auditing skills are a must Adherence to Best Practices in project management Experience in Change Management processes Coding skills are beneficial Ability to lead and manage teams effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
