Description Growing company in the Bloomfield area is looking for an Accountant. Working with the Accounting Manager and being a contributing member of the Accounting team, you will be responsible for general ledger maintenance, month end close, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax return preparation, audit and special projects as assigned.

Process, record, and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.

Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Reconcile financial information to prepare and post journal entries.

Assist with month end close activities.

Prepare sales and use filings.

Analyze and report on weekly sales and inventory.

Conduct audits and participate in onsite audits.

Assist with payroll processing and credit/collections as needed.

Minimum requirements for the Accountant include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, strong understanding of GAAP, 1+ years of month end close experience, ERP experience and advanced Excel / systems skills.
