Job Overview
We are seeking versatile and dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Educators to join our dynamic educational institution. This comprehensive role spans multiple educational disciplines, including Mathematics, Science, Arts, Social Studies, Spanish Immersion Teacher, Multilingual Language Teacher (ESL), Teacher of Adults, and Early Childhood/Pre-School Special Education.
Substitute Mathematics Teacher:
Seeking a qualified educator to provide temporary instruction in mathematics. Responsibilities include delivering lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Strong math skills and ability to explain complex concepts required.
Substitute Science Teacher:
Looking for a knowledgeable substitute to lead science classes. Duties involve conducting experiments, explaining scientific principles, and fostering critical thinking. Familiarity with lab safety procedures is essential.
Substitute Arts Teacher:
Seeking a creative individual to fill in for art classes. Responsibilities include guiding students in various artistic techniques, encouraging self-expression, and organizing art displays. Knowledge of multiple art forms is preferred.
Substitute Social Studies Teacher:
Seeking an engaging educator to cover social studies classes. Duties include teaching history, geography, and civics, facilitating discussions on current events, and promoting cultural awareness.
Spanish Immersion Substitute Teacher:
Looking for a fluent Spanish speaker to substitute in Spanish immersion classes. Responsibilities include delivering lessons entirely in Spanish, supporting language acquisition, and promoting cultural understanding.
Multilingual Language Teacher (ESL) Substitute:
Seeking a substitute with experience in teaching English as a Second Language. Duties include supporting non-native English speakers, implementing ESL methodologies, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Substitute Teacher of Adults:
Looking for an experienced educator to substitute in adult education classes. Responsibilities include teaching various subjects to adult learners, adapting teaching styles to diverse learning needs, and providing guidance on educational and career pathways.
Early Childhood/Pre-School Special Education Substitute:
Seeking a patient and nurturing individual to substitute in early childhood special education settings. Duties include implementing individualized education plans, supporting developmental milestones, and collaborating with therapists and families.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education. (Where Required)
State of Delaware Teacher Certification in multiple relevant areas (Where Required)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of successful teaching experience (K-12 and/or adult learners).
