Bay Country Landscape is looking for new grounds maintenance crew members! Bay Country Landscape is a second generation, full service landscape organization that has operated in the area for 30 years!
Position Overview
The grounds maintenance team member is an experienced team member and assists the grounds maintenance team leader managing the horticulture requirements of a predetermined route of clients. he/she has a basic knowledge of horticultural practices, woody and perennial plant cultural requirements, and pest management.
Knowledge and Experience
- This position requires a high school degree or GED, plus one year's experience in a landscaping or hardscaping field.
- Candidate must be able to read and write.
- The successful individual will have a basic knowledge of standard horticultural practices.
- An understanding of grounds maintenance equipment such as string trimmers, push mowers, riding mowers and walk-behind mowers, as well as, hedge trimmers and sprayers is helpful.
- Good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a great attitude are keys to being successful at Bay Country Landscape!
