Seeking installers of modular closet systems in Wilmington, Newark and surrounding areas. Please respond to the posting and provide a resume detailing relevant experience for consideration.
Job Responsibilities:
Accurately measures spaces and identifies all obstructions that could impact the design
Removes any existing closet systems and performs basic patch and paint on areas removed
Performs accurate and precise installation per the design plans
Performs service orders if needed due to errors, damages or missing product to complete the space
Problem solving with the ability to resolve unforeseen issues that may arise while on site
Act professionally, show up on time as scheduled with customer service skills for an often customer-facing role
Qualifications:
Minimum one to three years of experience as trim carpenter, finish carpenter, cabinet installer, mill-works installer, wood-shop worker or similar job within the carpentry industry
Able to safely use a table saw, miter saw, circular saw, router, nail gun, etc.
Reliable transportation for travel to homes for scheduled appointments
Must have valid automobile insurance, pass appropriate state car inspection and sign vehicle inspection form
Based in the Greater Wilmington/Newark area
Must have the ability to carry up to 50 lbs and utilize A-frame and/or bench ladders
Must supply your own tools
Ability to work alone or as part of a two-person crew
Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation:
This is a 1099 Contractor position that is paid by the job, with a $100 minimum and daily jobs as high as $800 with an average of $250 to $300. If desired, more than 1 job can be done in a day.
