CDS Analytical, the word leader in Gas Chromatography (GC) front-end sample introduction instrumentations, is seeking an Inventory Assistant. This position is part of the production team, and owns the responsibility for assisting the Inventory Manager and Production Manager to manage and track the movement of various raw materials and assemblies. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities
Report to the Inventory Manager on daily inventory control assignments
Work with the Purchasing Manager on identifying and reporting shortages
Pull and distribute raw material and assemblies to each workstation
Assist the Accounting Manager on reporting receiving issues to the vendor
Use software to monitor and adjust inventory
Assist production team in final packaging
Learn assembly skills when needed
Knowledge and Skills
Proven experience in manufacturing
Excellent knowledge of data analysis
Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CPIM) will be a plus
