Position: HVAC Technician (Commercial Only)
Experience Required: 7–10 years of commercial HVAC experience
Service Coverage Area: Wilmington, DE to Allentown, PA
Pay: $25.00 – $39.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
On-Call Rotation: Approximately 3 times per year
About Us
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to exceptional workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems using hand tools, blueprints, wiring/piping diagrams, and engineering specifications.
Operate refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging tools, and service gauges.
Troubleshoot HVAC components and verify all systems meet design and performance specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and operational checks on commercial HVAC and related equipment.
Conduct start-ups, repairs, and overhauls of commercial HVAC systems.
Record temperature, pressure, and performance data accurately.
Complete job documentation and service records promptly.
Stay current with manufacturer updates and new HVAC technologies.
Participate in an on-call rotation approximately 3 times per year.
Experience with VAV/VVT systems and building controls (ATC Temperature, electronic, and pneumatic) preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
7–10 years of commercial HVAC service experience required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle).
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
