Leonard's Express in New Castle, DE is looking for two full time certified forklift operators under the direct supervision of the warehouse foreman. The Forklift Operator operates a forklift within the warehouse or dock and performs various material handling duties. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unloads trailer and places products in the appropriate location in the warehouse
- Loads trailers according to directions on the individualized load sheet provided for each trailer
- Performs safety checks on forklifts and reports any issues to the warehouse foreman
- Ensures proper and accurate product counts throughout the shipping and receiving process
- Maintains product integrity by ensuring items are maintained at the appropriate temperature
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2 years' experience as a forklift driver
- Equipment certificates for forklift, clamp truck, and pallet jack are desirable
- Physically capable of lifting 25 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds periodically
- Required to drive and safely maneuver a forklift with excellent manual dexterity
- Possession of a Class A CDL will yield a higher hourly wage

This position is located at 504 Rogers Road, New Castle, DE. The tentative schedule is Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Must be available for regular weekend hours.
