Job Descriptions
1. Receive incoming packages from Amazon, UPS, FedEx and other freight companies and from after hours drop off box
2. Record total number of packages received by delivery companies on white board as and when packages arrive
3. Verify that received packages are in good state, if defective, record as such
4. Scan all incoming packages with scan tool
5. Move packages around warehouse with pallet jack
6. Respond to all inquiries about packages that are posted on communication platforms
7. Assist in packaging, wrapping, labeling and palletizing boxes for export
8. Locates and packs materials for shipping.
9. Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
10. Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations
Material Handler Requirements:
High school diploma, associates degree or equivalent qualification.
Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification is an advantage, but not required.
Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift about 50 pounds.
Willing to consider working overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
