Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Financial Administrator in the education industry, located in Dover, Delaware. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting educators with grants and budgeting, creating budgets, and providing information and explanations regarding awarded grants. Responsibilities: Assist educators in understanding and managing grants and budgeting Attend and participate in meetings to review grants Create and manage budgets according to documents Provide information and explanations to educators regarding awarded grants Make journal entry adjustments as necessary Assist educators in staying within budget Handle invoicing tasks efficiently Use skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Grant Administration to carry out tasks effectively. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Administrator or in a similar role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Billing and Invoice Processing is required Strong skills in Data Entry and the ability to handle large volumes of data Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to use advanced functions Experience in Grant Administration is necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred Familiarity with financial regulations is a plus.
