Accounting Specialist.

Role: As a Closing Specialist, you will work to manage various documents and files throughout the settlement process.

Responsibilities:

• Handle payroll functions as required by the organization
• Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense
• Assist in the preparation of tax documents for employees
• Manage client accounts, payment schedules, and (interim) servicing
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable when necessary.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in accounting, finance, business or related fields preferred
• A Certified Public Accounting (CPA) title may be necessary
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices, with a focus on the residential lending industry. .
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records
• Current familiarity with common database and spreadsheet tools, such as Quickbooks, MySQL and Excel
• Knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and without supervision when required
