This role will support detailed financial planning, reporting and analysis. This position entails increased scope and complexity including strategic decision making to achieve PHI O&M financial goals, including compliance to all regulatory filings. Must be able to fulfill ad hoc financial requests from various internal and external sources to support decision-making and provide necessary insight to executives, managers, and department heads. This position will partner with FinOps and other Customer Operations stakeholders. Individual must be flexible, proactive, and able to work with ambiguity. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.Primary DutiesPRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support the governance and oversight of the Customer Operations O&M investment portfolio, including but not limited to current year financial forecasting, long range planning (LRP), resource planning, portfolio prioritization, and O&M accountability reporting.

Provide financial analysis and reporting for management on major O&M cost drivers and variance explanations. Work with key stakeholders to monitor and control costs.

Bring a financial perspective to daily operations. Prepare and review month-end, quarterly, and full-year financial performance reports up to and including: executive reporting packages, monthly financial close packages, and other presentations as requested.

Lead and support each monthly financial closing (pre and post close work), ensure proper accounting treatment is followed, and monitor adherence to corporate policies and procedures.

Effectively partner and communicate with FinOps and other Customer Operations stakeholders

Provide strategic insights to ensure the most effective utilization of personnel, equipment and/or materials for business operations.

Prepare various periodic reports to communicate performance in a variety of focus areas.

Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as requested.

Lead/participate in complex special projects or initiatives at the request of Management.

This is an individual contributor position that works independently with only general direction, relying on knowledge skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. The position regularly mentors less experienced colleagues.

Position requires routine interaction with key internal and external stakeholders, executives, directors, managers and staff across the organization.

May require working extended hours and/or shift work to support business operations.

Minimum QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering AND 4-7 years of related business experience, or in lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant business experience is required.

Comprehensive understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e.g., asset management, electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs, transmission operations and planning).

Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), specialized business technologies and applications (e.g., workforce management, project management, PassPort, Brio, CIS, EPS, Business Objects, SAP planning, business modeling, forecasting, voice response unit, automatic call distributors, work management, outage management) to retrieve and analyze data in support of business needs.

Ability to provide in-depth analysis and apply managerial accounting concepts, customer intelligence gathering, forecasting, staff planning, scheduling, analytical and statistical problem solving, financial, accounting, business and budget analysis.

Demonstrated strong analytical skills for project evaluation including analysis of complex projects with economic, financial, risk and decision analysis. Proficient in business case development and ability to effectively present business cases to business unit leadership.

Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis) benchmarking and audit compliance. Ability to analyze organizational data and complex problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.

Preferred QualificationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or relevant advanced degree.

Strong financial acumen, and extensive successful professional experience in financially focused roles.

Demonstrated advanced skills in problem solving, negotiation, conflict management.

Ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change.

Experience with Exelon financial systems, such as Hyperion, WPT, OBIEE, AS8, and PowerBI.

Benefits

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $77,600.00/Yr. - USD $116,400.00/Yr.
