Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manager, Technical Architecture in Wilmington, DE.
The Manager, Technical Architecture is responsible for overseeing a team of highly skilled Network Engineers and Technical Architects. This hands-on Manager role requires a strong understanding of technology as it relates to Networking. Critical to this function is ensuring a robust supportable network environment that meets the increasing need for system integration, access, and data flow.
This position will help translate business and system requirements into network design recommendations that meet or exceed the application specifications. Grasping new technologies, assessing the impact, and translating them into effective architecture solutions is a vital component of this role.
Manager, Technical Architecture will establish the organizations technical vision and lead all aspects of the technological development and deployment
Ensure Infrastructure Architecture standards are defined and adhered to
Develop, implement, and maintain a sustainable and supported network architecture that aligns with organizational direction; Considers future systems direction and aligns Infrastructure capabilities accordingly
Conducts research and case studies on leading edge networking technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation
As a Manager, Technical Architecture, you will partner with local clinical and business operations leaders along with IS Application Teams to understand system requirements and provide supported network services
Develops Standard Operating Procedures and ensures uniform deployment of updates; Provide expertise, direction and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, migrations, and maintenance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Information Technology required
10+ years of leadership experience in the areas of systems and technology, preferably with networking focus required
5+ years of leadership experience supporting healthcare systems preferred
In-depth technical knowledge, specifically in network architecture
Prior management experience along with Master's degree preferred
