We are a rapidly growing, accounting and consulting firm that specializes in the accounting needs of entrepreneurs, start-ups and micro-businesses. We are in search of hands on accountant to handle a number of our entrepreneurial, day-to day Outsourced Accounting clients.
Flexible work schedule available. From full-time to 20-25 per week. Opportunities in our Rockville, MD and Fairfax, VA locations.
Responsibilities include:
Deal with all AP, AR, GL, Payroll issues for numerous clients
Work directly with company owners on budget, cash flow and management reports
Prepare and review monthly accounting, quarterly and annual financial statement and reporting
Work collaboratively with staff on client related issues
Assist on payroll related issues when necessary
Background Requirements:
2-7 years of previous accounting experience
Four year degree in accounting or related field from an accredited university
Excellent oral and written communication skills
CPA or pursuit of such welcomed
Experience with XERO software a plus
