We are seeking a staff accountant, preferably with 2 or more years’ experience. We will consider an entry-level position for the right candidate. This is a permanent position with growth potential, not a temporary tax-season position.
Duties include:
Financial statement preparation and analysis,
Payroll and business tax compliance,
Business, individual, and fiduciary income tax return preparation,
Tax planning for high-income, high net-worth professionals,
Tax research and representation before the IRS and other tax agencies,
Providing management advisory services, primarily for professional practices.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
Bachelor’s degree required,
CPA (preferred) or eligible,
2 years’ experience preferred, ideally in a public accounting environment.
Will consider entry-level for the right candidate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills,
Microsoft Office experience,
Drake experience (or similar tax package),
QuickBooks experience,
General ledger software experience,
Tax research application experience,
PTIN required.
