Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a Pizza Shift Lead/Assistant Manager. As an integral part of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our restaurant during your shift, ensuring that our high standards for food quality, customer service, and cleanliness are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
Pizza Expertise:
Utilize your extensive experience in pizza-making to ensure that pizzas are prepared to perfection, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.
Train and mentor team members in the art of pizza-making, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them excel in their roles.
Leadership and Supervision:
Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence in everything you do.
Supervise pizza-making staff during your shift, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them succeed.
Customer Service Excellence:
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience, leaving them eager to return.
Operations Management:
Manage inventory levels of pizza ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
Shift Coordination and Administration:
Assist in creating and managing shift schedules for employees, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet customer demand.
Handle cash transactions accurately, reconcile cash drawers, and maintain records of daily sales and transactions.
Qualifications:
Pizza Experience: A minimum of ONE years of experience in pizza-making, with a deep understanding of dough preparation, sauce creation, and pizza assembly.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to deliver their best performance.
Customer Service Excellence: Outstanding communication skills and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to every customer.
Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Food Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and practices, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
