Project Manager (PM) - The Project Manager (PM) serves as the senior authority responsible for the overall execution of contract operations. As the primary point of contact for the USDA’s Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the PM ensures the seamless delivery of all contract requirements. This includes overseeing staffing, training, and performance across all security operations. The PM maintains constant, open communication with the USDA to ensure any feedback or adjustments are immediately addressed. With 24/7 availability, the PM is the central figure in operational decision-making, capable of responding to and resolving any issues that may arise, including leading crisis management when necessary.
Deputy Project Manager (DPM) - The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) plays a critical role in supporting the PM with the day-to-day execution of the contract. In the PM’s absence, the DPM assumes full authority and ensures that all responsibilities are upheld with the same level of efficiency. The DPM supervises tactical operations, ensuring personnel are deployed appropriately and that all performance standards are rigorously maintained. Additionally, the DPM is focused on quality control, playing an integral role in implementing corrective actions when needed, and reporting directly to the PM on all operational matters.
