Boniwood Homeowners Association located in Clinton, MD, is seeking a full-time On-Site Community Manager. Experience in managing HOA is preferred but not required.
The Onsite Community Manager will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
The On-Site Community Manager is responsible for providing the overall supervision of assigned community association(s). The On-site Community Manager interacts with internal and external customers including homeowners, vendors, board members, and committee members, as well as the branch operations team.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
The on-site Manager is an employee of the Management Company and works under the supervision of the Portfolio Manager. They will comply with all established policies and operational procedures. They are to work closely with the Portfolio Manager to successfully manage all aspects of the community.
Maintain resident files and databases for authorized residents, contact information, non-resident owners, vehicle registrations, and bicycle permits
Inspects all common areas at least twice a week
Assures that the office is clean, neat, and well-maintained and the desk and filing cabinets are orderly
Oversees the contractors to ensure that the overall appearance and condition of the HOA is of high quality
Assures that common areas are clean and in good repair
Process resident requests
Maintain calendar for community room rentals and process rental agreements
Obtain proposals for community improvements
Maintain community bulletin boards
Send violation letters and track the status of violations to ensure compliance with community rules.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with residents in person or through electronic communication.
Assign work order requests and follow up with residents
Input all Work Orders into the tracking system
Other duties as assigned
Hands-on leader, overseeing all aspects of community life
Manage daily office operations to include maintaining the database, contract files, architectural review process, financial reporting, capital projects, and expenditures
Maintain vendor relationships, coordinate inspections and facility maintenance
Collaborate with Homeowners and the Association’s Board of Directors, ensuring the Association’s policies and procedures are met
Prepare Board packages, facilitate Board Meetings, update on community events and legal actions
Requirements:
Service-oriented relationship builder with strong communication skills (written and oral)
Proactive and self-directed team player who has excellent time management skills and is effective at prioritizing tasks
Knowledgeable of community life; property, real estate, and homeowners' associations; working with an Association and Board of Directors
Proficient in conflict resolution techniques
Salary: $42,000 to $45,000
