Tous les Jours is seeking a skilled and passionate Shift Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery during your shift. You’ll lead a team of bakers and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional products and customer service, uphold our quality standards, and manage day-to-day operations. Your leadership, organizational skills, and passion for baking will drive the success of each shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
-Supervise and motivate bakery staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
-Conduct regular training and development sessions for new and existing employees.
-Manage staff schedules, including handling shift changes and covering absences as needed.
Operational Management:
-Oversee the preparation and baking of products according to recipes and quality standards.
-Ensure that all bakery equipment and tools are used properly and maintained in good condition.
-Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies to prevent shortages.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Customer Service:
-Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
-Maintain a welcoming and clean environment for customers, including front-of-house areas.
-Implement and monitor customer service standards to ensure a positive experience.
Financial Responsibilities:
-Assist in managing daily cash and financial transactions, including opening and closing registers.
-Review and manage shift-based financial reports and ensure accurate cash handling.
Quality Control:
-Monitor the quality of products, ensuring they meet bakery standards before they are served to customers.
-Implement procedures to maintain product consistency and freshness.
Administrative Tasks:
-Complete shift reports, including sales, inventory, and staffing.
-Assist with special projects, promotions, and events as required by the Bakery Manager.
Work Schedule:
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
-Specific shift times and days will be discussed during the interview process.
