English SAT Part-Time Teaching Position (Oakton)
Compensation: Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
Subjects: SAT English, College Essay Writing, Classic Literature Reading, 4-12th Grade Reading & Writing
Oakton Academy is a Northern Virginia-based learning center providing enriched learning experiences for elementary through high schoolers. We primarily specialize in college preparation with an emphasis on SAT preparation.
We are currently recruiting highly qualified teachers for our 2024 Summer and/or Fall courses. Current or retired teachers and PhD candidates, Master program students, or new graduates with extensive expertise in English are welcome to apply.
Ideal candidate:
Strong academic credentials (BA or BS required)
Proficient in standardized tests
Interactive, upbeat personality and strong interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for working with students
In-person and/or online teaching opportunities
