All materials are provided for you, no teacher certification needed, but some teaching experience is a "plus." Our program focuses on the positive qualities and potential of each student in a small classroom setting, with up to 8 students per class or 1/1. We serve students from where they are, academically, then slowly move them toward their highest level of achievement. Unlike most public and private schools, we actually have books! Thus, the angst of having to prepare lessons is over for you, our most precious teacher. We gladly work around your family schedule, vacations, and classes, respecting your life. Required: Very good spoken and written English language skills. This is a perfect job for rising college seniors for those with a degree in Language Arts (English, literature, writing, journalism).
