St. Anthony's Day School is a year-round NAEYC accredited Christian School that serves infants to five-year-olds. It has been in operation for over 25 years. We focus on giving children the comprehensive education that includes age-appropriate classical art, Spanish language, and training for social responsibility and respect for God and all His creatures. Job Summary:

We are looking for a flexible, dedicated, and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher for our young two's class to join our team. As a Lead Teacher at St. Anthony's Day School, you will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating and supportive atmosphere where young children can explore, learn, and thrive. This is a Full-Time position with working hours of 8:30-5:30 Monday- Friday. This position involves implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering social and emotional growth, and ensuring the overall well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience in behavior management, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Roles & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

- Adhere to all State Standards, the Code of Ethical Conduct, and all St. Anthony's policies and procedures.

-Create and carry out a weekly lesson plan that is designed to stimulate and develop children's social, cognitive, language, physical, and self-help skills, and encourage curiosity, exploration and respect of God

- Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning

- Foster positive behavior management strategies to create a harmonious classroom atmosphere

- Attend to the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and nurturing

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications:

- Hold a an Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field (Bachelor's Preferred)

- Certification in First Aid and CPR (Preferred)

- Able to stoop, kneel, sit, stand, squat, push, pull, stretch, and walk with children, and able to lift 40lbs

- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a dynamic environment

-Be able to pass a background check

-Spanish speaking (highly preferred)

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

- A passion for working with young children and promoting their holistic development
