We are seeking an architect with 2 to 5 years experience, with strong technical and problem solving abilities - preferably in light commercial work. We are looking for a candidate interested in learning something new every day.
You should be a motivated professional, interested in working on a wide variety of project tasks from Preliminary Design to Construction Administration. You should be able to provide evidence of a good technical background and the ability to bring creative ideas into the real world. An immediate start date is preferred for this permanent, full-time position.
We have found the following skills important for success in architecture and within our firm:
-Accredited degree in architecture (B. Arch, M. Arch) or (B.S Arch)
-Ability to visualize in 3D
-Knowledge of U.S. standard materials and construction details desirable
-Vector Works and SketchUp experience is a BIG plus
-ability to translate known computer softwares is a must
-Desire to learn every day and take on new challenges
-Good communication skills
