You will be part of a winning team, enabled by DBS, that is passionate about helping life science experts around the world get to answers they can trust.Learn about the Danaher Business System (https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system) (DBS) which makes everything possible.The Senior Manager, Talent Development is responsible to lead the planning, development, and implementation of talent development strategies, programs, and initiatives in alignment with global Talent Management and SCIEX HR strategies. This role will lead key talent practices in service to our people managers and associates and manage important talent pipelines that support the achievement of our business strategies and objectives.This position reports to the Senior Director, Talent & Culture, HR DBSL and is part of the Talent & Culture Centre of Excellence and will be a fully remote role based out of Canada or United States.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Play an active role in the creation and execution of annual Talent Management processes that identifies and prioritizes strategic talent needs gathered from across the Operating Company and drive our SCIEX Talent Engine and culture of development

Drive continuous improvement through execution of our current talent and succession planning practices so that people leaders increase their overall talent development effectiveness

Administer our talent and leadership assessment methods so that all people leaders and associates understand how to develop themselves to reach their full potential

Coordinate SCIEX demand planning for all leadership nomination programs; monitor and measure for effectiveness

Initiate and execute on-time delivery of annual talent processes such as Performance for Growth “P4G”, Development for Growth “D4G” and our annual Performance Calibration

Operationalize the quarterly associate Engagement Surveys and related training for managers and associates to drive continuous improvement of our culture strategy

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in business, talent development, human resources, or a related discipline, with at least 5+ years of experience in talent management, talent development or as an HR Business Partner

Experience performing personal or organizational needs assessments

Skilled at performing program oversight and execution in a global capacity

Ability to work in an environment committed to continuous improvement of processes including the Danaher Business System (DBS) tool, lean methodology, data analytics, and change management

Ability to thrive in a metrics driven culture

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – <10% domestically and internationally

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Use of DBS Fundamentals or lean principles

Developing and launching new products

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
