Position Purpose:

The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager with ensuring a strong culture and Company values, while delivering entertainment unmatched in the market. This position is the leader of the management and hourly team members who is comfortable taking responsibility to get things done. This individual embraces our standards, systems, welcomes change within a growing Company, and leads by example every shift. The Assistant General Manager understands the business growth and development of the team with improvement plans and continued training.

Responsibilities:

Works with General Manager and management team to develop and execute strategies to achieve operational goals

Ensures the restaurant team delivers upon service standards to cultivate the ultimate guest experience

Ensures consistent execution of food, beverage, service and hospitality that aligns with company standards, policies, and programs

Identifies and monitors training and development needs including conducting performance evaluations to measure successes and identify developmental areas of opportunity

Empowers the team to lead confidently

Proactively communicates staffing needs, ensures proper hiring while balancing labor control

Responsible for the overall bar operation including ordering product, updating product, department meetings, monthly inventory, and maintaining cost control

Requirements & Minimum Qualifications:

Must pass a background check prior to being hired

5yrs of management experience in customer service or hospitality

2yrs of experience managing ordering and inventory in F&B operations

Competent in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Required food, alcohol, and allergen certification maintained throughout employment. Additional state qualifications may apply per location

Available to work various shift times and days, including weekends and holidays

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and digitally

Self-driven, results oriented, and proactive attitude

Able to stand and/ or walk for long periods of time

Ability to lift over 50+ lbs. if necessary
