Location : Ledo Pizza South Arlington - 1035 S Edgewood Street Arlington,VA 22204
History: It is hard to believe that LEDO has been making pizza since 1955. After all, pizza seemed to be a passing trend when the first restaurant opened in Adelphi, Maryland by Bob Beall.
Each LEDO Pizza is rolled to order with fresh handmade dough topped with the same high-quality cheese and the same style tomatoes as in 1955. It may take a little longer, but it sure is worth it.
Description of Role
Ledo Pizza South Arlington is adding to our team. We are looking to add experienced cashiers, dishwashers, prep/grill/pizza cooks who would either like to be full time or part time, to supplement their incomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Oversee that all opening and closing duties are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained,
● Responsible for taking and receiving cash and credit card payments from guests
● Executing company SOPS
● Providing excellent customer service to guests
● Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards
● Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines
● Will report directly to Shift Supervisors and Store Manager
● Work closely with the Front of House Manager to provide a seamless experience
● Responsible for quality assurance of products leaving their departments
Requirements
● Cashiers - 2 years of customer service experience
Expo/Cooks - 4 years of kitchen prep/grill/fry or expo experience
Pizza Cook - 2 years experience in high volume pizza establishment
Dishwasher - 2 years consistent employment
● Must have 3-4 days availability (non-negotiable)
● Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
● Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
● Must have general food knowledge
● Must have reliable transportation
● Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
● Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail
● High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances
● Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time
● Must pass reference/background check
● Must be proactive and able to upsell and describe menu items
● Able to lift 25 lbs
● Fluent in English for front of house roles
