We are a popular food cart that specializes in Middle Eastern Street food. We are looking for experienced team members with a passion for cooking and hospitality. Speed and timing without sacrificing quality is key. Position requires food prep, cooking on grill and cleanup as well as direct interaction with our customers. Candidate must be able to communicate and prepare food for customers according to their specifications. Attention to detail and commitment to quality are important as well as friendliness (yes we do smile a lot!) and ability to interact with customers while working. This position is full-time for the right candidate. Most evenings and weekends are off unless there is a special event. Reliable transportation to the commissary in Lorton, VA is a must. Individuals with a passion for food and exceptional hospitality are encouraged to apply.
A successful candidate will be able to;
Safely drive and setup the food carts in VA/DC during the week or weekends as needed.
Prepare all items on the menu independently and with the utmost quality.
Use a POS for sales.
Safely use propane tanks and a generator for cooking on the cart.
Prep/cook food items in the commissary before lunch service.
Properly breakdown and clean cart after service.
Replenish supplies for following day.
Check inventory and replenish as needed.
Provide stellar customer service while preparing food items to order.
Perform other duties as needed.
