Position Summary:
The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our production line. This position is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. The Production Manager will lead the production crew, coordinate schedules, and implement efficient workflows to meet production goals and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute production schedules to meet delivery timelines and customer demands.
- Supervise daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards.
- Onboard, and train new production crew members while providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for ingredients and packaging materials, ensuring timely replenishments.
- Enforce compliance with food safety protocols, workplace cleanliness, and health and safety regulations.
- Oversee timekeeping, and staff scheduling to ensure seamless shift transitions and adequate staffing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
- Maintain detailed production reports, analyzing performance metrics and communicating results to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food production or manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and workplace health standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $62,400/year ($30/hour)
