MARCUS DC, by celebrated Chef and restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson, blends modern American cooking with Black culinary traditions from D.C. to Ethiopia, and beyond.

These are full- or part-time, on-site roles located in a beautiful hotel in Washington, DC.

- Hosts: Set the tone for the guest experience, manage flow, and create a welcoming first impression.

- Servers: Deliver attentive, knowledgeable service with grace and speed—key to driving guest satisfaction and repeat visits.

- Bartenders: Craft exceptional drinks, engage guests, and often serve as the heartbeat of the bar experience.

- Barbacks: Support bartenders with speed and efficiency, ensuring seamless service during peak hours.

- Food Runners: Bridge kitchen and dining room, maintaining pace and presentation standards.

Qualifications

Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations

Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen environment

Organizational and inventory management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Prior experience in a culinary role is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be legally able to work in the United States and be available for immediate hire.
