Windows Catering is searching for experienced line cooks to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best in the industry and work in a high-volume catering kitchen.
Responsibilities:
-Plans, prepares, cooks and expedites food as necessary in a timely, consistent, organized and sanitary manner
-Sets up cooking stations with product, supplies, utensils and equipment
-Fills in for other cooks when necessary, performing their job duties when needed
-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
-Trains new employees when needed
-Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
-Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-Proven cooking experience, including prior experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
-Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
-Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
-Performs all other duties as assigned
