Olive Lebanese Eatery Herndon is hiring a part time Prep Assistant.
This position will be Monday - Friday from 9-3 NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO NIGHTS
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including washing, chopping, measuring, and portioning.
Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies.
Assist chefs and line cooks with daily prep tasks to ensure timely service.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing food deliveries.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, slicers, and ovens.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools, counters, and storage areas.
Support the team with special events, banquets, and catering functions as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures to uphold quality standards.
Must work well with others
$15-17/hour
Must Speak and Read English
