Prep- COOK - greater Fairfax area
Large Training center is in need of experience prep cook,with at lease two years of commercial kitchen experience must have good knives skill, able to follow direction or recipes
Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Attends in-service and safety meetings.
Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
You will need transportation and be at the job site on time that yo are schedule.
You will also need to complete a background check and drug testing before starting this position , uniform you will need Black checker pants, chef coat, black non-skid shoes.
DISHWASHER UTILITY WORKER :
Major training center is in needed of Dishwasher /Utility people
A Dishwasher is an essential part of the kitchen interior team, separating washable items and placing them on the dishwasher conveyor belt to be washed. This includes trays, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, silverware and other dishware items. You are responsible to keep the kitchen area clean which will include the remove of trash, clean walk-ins, help put away food orders. This is a great entry-level role for anyone without previous experience, as well as for those working in a warehouse, stocking, assembly line or general labor environment.
You will need transportation to the job site. A background check and drug test before starting. When you go to this position yo will need non-skid black shoe, blank pants and black polo shirt with collar . you must be clean and neat long hair tied back , no fingernail polish or any jewelry.
