Lebanese Taverna Group is seeking window cashiers for its Tysons Galleria restaurant located at the entrance of Tysons Galleria mall: 1840-G International Drive, Mclean, VA 22102 - Tel: 703.847.5244
Qualified candidates will have great communication skills and the passion to serve patrons' needs providing them with the best experience.
He/she will perform the following duties:
- answering the phone with an inviting tone of voice and professional manner
- welcoming and organizing checkout experience, influencing the customer’s final impression of the restaurant
- responding to patrons' questions about the menu, and addressing any concerns with a friendly demeanor
- preparing and packaging food, pastries, and drinks orders including coffee and juices
- processing patrons' payments and ensuring a smooth transaction process.
- managing take out orders using (POS) system, ensuring all items are correctly recorded and packaged before payment is processed
- welcoming and organized checkout experience, by influencing the customer’s final impression of the restaurant.
- interacting with patrons, answering questions about the menu, and addressing concerns with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process various payment types, including cash, credit, and debit cards.
- processing take-out orders, ensuring all items are correctly recorded and packaged before payment.
- answering patrons questions regarding menu items and promotional offers, maintaining current knowledge of all offerings.
- performing end-of-shift cash handling procedures, including balancing receipts, counting cash, and preparing a daily sales report.
- addressing customer issues and payment discrepancies with a professional demeanor, escalating to a manager when appropriate.
- Communicating with kitchen staff to confirm order details and ensure a smooth workflow between the front and back of the house.
- maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, restocking like paper, bags, and condiments as needed.
