Toki Underground is an award winning, 26-seat restaurant located on H St NE in Washington DC. We’re an Izakaya & Ramen bar serving up delicious food, drinks and great energy. We are currently looking for a bartender to join our team. We are looking for people that love food, can rise to a challenge and work well with a small team. Experience in high volume, customer facing, fast paced environments is a plus. Less experienced candidates with the right attitude and drive are welcome. Expectations:
At least 2 years of restaurant experience
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
attention to detail
Ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs. or more
3-4 shifts a week
Open availability is preferred (weekdays & weekends)
Provide excellent hospitality to guests
Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work with a team
