We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to a male, autistic young adult in his home, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or hospice care is a plus
- Ability to provide patient and compassionate care to individuals of all ages
- Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Understanding of care and assisted living principles
- Flexible with working hours
