Dental Assistant
We are looking for a qualified, professional, and motivated Dental Assistant that is MD certified x-ray technician. Individual must have a positive attitude, be a team player, BE PUNCTUAL, self started, outgoing personality to be a part of this family.
Responsibilities
⢠Perform inter-oral procedures as directed by the Dentist.
⢠Take preliminary impressions for study models, remove sutures, place and remove rubber dams, perio-packs, matrix bands, and wedges.
⢠Instruct patient in proper dental techniques, care of appliances, and causes of dental decay.
⢠Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs.
⢠Chart examination and treatment information as relayed by dentist to patient records.
Requirements: own transportation, only dental assistants with at least 5 years of experience in general dentistry, expanded functions a plus but not required. Cover letter must consist of why you believe you are qualified for the position, as well as your expectation of compensation. Three professional references required of previous employers. Position is for a 32-34 hours work schedule per week
