Compensation: $22-$28/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (potential for Fridays); 8-hour shifts

Position Overview:
Our growing, privately owned, fee-for-service and PPO general dentistry practice in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area is seeking an energetic, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a modern practice passionate about delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth workflow (4-handed dentistry).
Prepare operatories, instruments, and equipment ensuring sterile environment throughout all procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist.
Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with patient assessment before, during, and after procedures.
Ensure accurate dental documentation and recordkeeping, including medical records and patient charts.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Support front desk operations as necessary, including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory and compliance standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Qualifications:
MUST hold a valid certificate as a Dental Radiation Technologist in the state of Maryland.
Completion of accredited Dental Assistant program or minimum 1 years experience as a dental assistant.
CPR certification.
