Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and caring Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will provide preventive dental care, perform routine cleanings, and educate patients about oral health maintenance. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations
Take and develop X-rays, ensuring proper handling of dental equipment
Assess patients' oral health and provide recommendations for treatment or care
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
Assist in the administration of fluoride treatments and sealants
Maintain patient records, documenting treatments, procedures, and progress
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions
Work collaboratively with the dentist and other team members
Qualifications:
Current state dental hygiene license
Years of experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred but not required)
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, including infection control and sterilization procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with Denticon dental software is a plus
