General Dental office in Arlington VA is looking for a seasoned & experienced candidate to grow in established private practice providing quality dental care. The candidate MUST have experience and be able to multitask. We never rush and always take time to deliver treatment. The ideal candidate would have at least 3-6 yrs of experience of working in all aspects of dental administrative duties with some clinical background. The desired qualities are being reliable, friendly, hardworking, detail-oriented, self motivated and able to work without supervision and extensive computer skills, in addition to possessing excellent verbal, reading & written communication skills.
The major duties include the following but not limited to:
Scheduling patient appointments/maintain re-call system
Keeping up with production goals & be able to analyze the data
Verifying patient benefits/coverage/eligibility
Entering accurate data & patient info
Present treatment plan and answer insurance/ billing related questions
Experience with open dental software is a plus
Calculating accurately and collecting co-pays for in & out of network plans
Timely submission & follow up of claims
Managing Account Receivable to ensure all patient accounts are current
Able to resolve typical issues arising in dental offices in timely manner
Provide excellent customer service & take initiative
Knowledge of EOBs/posting payments & billing
Bilingual (Spanish ) is a plus.
CPR and X ray certification is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
