We are a high-quality and not volume-driven practice looking for an Orthodontic Assistant with 1+ years of experience, to work full time. Traditional braces, Invisalign, and lingual are all part of the practice. Minimum Pay is $25 and higher depending on experience. A bonus is offered for every lingual appliance bonding in addition to the hourly rate.
Responsibilities include:
- Assistant sets up bay accurately, starts patient, works with doctor to do scheduled appointment.
- Working with labs to email them scans and follow up on appliances.
- Take impressions and make essix retainers in office.
- Infection control & sterilization, organization of dental bays, assisting admin individual on tracking dental inventory needed.
- Review of pre and post op instructions with patients.
- Potential follow up calls with patients, emergency coverage in office when doctor is out of office.
- 1-3 marketing events per year to participate in as needed after work hours during the week or on weekends.
- Participating as an assistant and as part of the office team at lunch and learns in office and or with other offices outside of the office during work hours as needed.
- Mandatory training and courses compliance.
- Able to share time between MD & DC (very short distance) locations during the week (2-day/3-day at each).
X-Ray Maryland/DC license is required.
Lingual Orthodontic experience is desired.
Knowledge of OrthoEdge2 a plus.
