Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to join our team at ICARE Homes. As a live-in caregiver, you will provide daily support, companionship, and assistance with personal care for elderly residents in a comfortable, home-like setting. You will work closely with a team of caregivers to ensure our residents are safe, well-cared for, and able to enjoy a high quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Administer medication reminders and assist with basic health care needs as required.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist residents with engaging in recreational and social activities.
Communicate effectively with family members, residents, and the caregiving team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a residential or assisted living setting.
Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and respectful care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be willing to live on-site with a flexible schedule.
