Maryland Mental Health Clinician

Position Overview:

Interdynamics, Inc., is a Behavioral Health Firm providing outpatient behavioral health services. As a member of the Interdynamics team of licensed clinicians (e.g., LGPCs, LCPCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LCSW-Cs, and Psychology Associates), you are selected to support a variety of programs.

We are currently hiring full-time, part-time, and contract positions in our OMHC and school-based positions

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed clinician in good standing in the State of Maryland and have a minimum of a Master’s degree in one or more of the following: social work, mental health counseling, or psychology. Must meet screening requirements which include a Criminal Background Check (MD and FBI) and State Child Abuse Registry clearance. Candidates should complete and provide evidence of licensure, and professional liability insurance.

OMHC Requirements:

Must complete 90 days of service satisfactorily or better to continue employment.

Adhere to all licensing regulations, ethical principles, and standards.

Provide direct services to our clients

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services.

Attend Clinical and Medical Directors meetings via Zoom

Other related duties as assigned.

Bilingual is a plus

School-based Requirements:

Must complete 90 days of service satisfactorily or better to continue employment.

Abide by Interdynamics' and school schedule for reporting to work and ending workday, Monday-Friday.

Follow the policies and protocols of Interdynamics, Inc., and PGCPS.

Adhere to all licensing regulations, ethical principles, and standards.

Attend Orientations and meetings at Interdynamics, Inc., and PGCPS.

School-based clinicians must commit to at least a one-year contract.

Responsibilities/Task Specifications (school-based):

Provide counseling to students, teachers, and parents.

Conduct teacher consultations and classroom intervention

Conduct training and workshops for staff, students, and parents.

Conduct classroom observations and functional behavioral assessments.

Conduct community outreach.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in team meetings.

Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and support staff as requested.

Provide Crisis Intervention for students, staff, and families.

Work with the school psychologist, counselors, and social workers.

Provide family support and liaison services with other agencies on behalf of the family.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services.

Meet weekly with the Interdynamics' Clinical Supervisor.

Inform the Clinical Supervisor of all absences and breaks in services by Position Contract Specifications.

Other related duties as assigned.
