We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable medical assistant to be part of our team. The job requires someone who has excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and values working with a team-oriented staff. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy medical office environment.
Responsibilities:
-Vital signs, phlebotomy
- Schedule appointments, do insurance verification, and record patient information in EMR.
- Generate Referrals to medical specialists and be able to provide them with patient information.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Be able to float and do back-office work if needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2-3 years of previous medical office experience or in the healthcare field.
- Must have EMR knowledge.
- Must have College degree as well as experience with medical terminology.
- English-speaking International Medical Graduates/ IMG, are welcomed.
