An experienced male or very strong female caregiver to work for an elderly man in Bethesda.
Schedule is 24/7, MONDAY – SUNDAY
Payment is $200 per 24h.
Interview with client’s family ASAP.
Starting day is, preferably, next day after it.
YOU MAY WORK 5 WEEKDAYS AND OTHER CARGIVER COULD WORK 2 DAYS ON WEEKEND.
DUTIES:
- take care of a Parkinson man, lightly mobile
- empty his urinal bag
- transfer him from the hospital bed to the commode
- wash him with wet sponge or take him to the walk-in bath tub
- change his clothe regularly
- prepare 3 meals a day (wife will help) , keep him hydrated offering him water or juice
- do laundry
- light housecleaning
- shopping -New Giant is close by
- keep company
- prevent falls
A MUST TO HAVE:
Work permit (as a minimum), Green Card, Passport
HHA, CNA Certificate
Experience in helping elderly people
Clean criminal background
Personal car, preferably,but not mandatory (mileage for client's chores will be compensated)
Friendly, easy personality.
