Job Description:
Ready 2 Serve Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and reliable caregiver to support a client living with Multiple Sclerosis. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate non-medical assistance, help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and foster independence wherever possible.
Schedule: starting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12 noon to 4 pm
Hours will increase to 5 days a week 12 pm to 4 pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with mobility and balance during short walks
Accompany client to grocery stores, errands, and appointments
Provide transportation as needed
Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry
Maintain a safe and clean living environment
Report any changes in the client’s condition to supervisor
Requirements:
Prior experience working with individuals with mobility challenges or chronic illness (MS experience a plus)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Reliable vehicle with insurance (for transportation and errands)
Strong interpersonal skills and patience
Ability to lift or provide steady support if the client loses balance
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
Must pass background check and provide professional references
